About Sat Nam Yoga Center
at Mother Divine Foundation

The mission of the non-profit Sat Nam Yoga Center at Mother Divine Foundation is to bring wellbeing to both our local and broader community through the lens of the Kundalini Yoga tradition. Our core philosophy supports mind, body and spirit with a combination of yoga, meditation, breathwork and chanting, as well as nourishing meals and an inspiring environment in the Catskill Mountains. Our daily practice and healing retreats use modalities like Sensory Deprivation Floating, live gong sessions, fire circles, intuitive dance practice and Raindrop Technique® therapy, among others. Additionally, the Center is a registered yoga school offering annual teacher training programs and workshops for those who wish to immerse themselves in the Kundalini yoga philosophy and become certified yoga teachers.

Sat Nam Yoga Center is guided by Marilyn Gitanjali Valant, who has been practicing Yoga, Meditation and studying ancient philosophies in the US, India and Nepal for over thirty years. Her path has led her to become a yoga teacher, and open Sat Nam Yoga in the Catskill region of NY, where she conducts classes as well as workshops and weekend retreats, as well as teacher trainings. Marilyn shares her personal experience with great conviction, compassion and love as a yoga teacher, personal trainer, nutrition and optimal weight coach.

Mother Divine Charitable Foundation Inc. serves as the umbrella organization of the Sat Nam Yoga Center and is classified as a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Donations large and small help support the organization’s operating costs and the ongoing wellness mission for the community. All donations are tax-deductible and most appreciated.
